Marie-Nicole has spent her entire career owning, operating & supporting small businesses in city, coastal & rural locations.
Her business experience ranges from service based through photography & coaching; to creating & selling handcrafted products in person & online; and owning & operating a bricks & mortar store with integrated atelier & creative co-working space.
Through this space she supported other small businesses from her region & beyond, providing a portal for connection between fellow creative professionals, and establishing & building their rural based small businesses.
As an active member in her local business chamber she continues to foster relationships that help bridge the gap between small business, their local government support network, and digital connections with customers within the region & beyond who are experiencing first-hand how critical digital skills & tools are for rural based businesses.

For the last 15 years Julie has been a rural small business owner and as such understands and has experienced the challenges that come with location and accessing business support.
